Tara Lord Breaks Into Ghana Music Industry

Toronto rapper Tara Lord breaks into Ghana music industry with the remix to Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow”, a new music video blowing up the shores of Canada and beyond. Born on March 17th 1999, from the age of 12, she was known as Little T at the early stage of her career. She performed with skill & energy at regular events and public shows.

Tara was trained on old school Hip Hop; her Father, RP Rap a.k.a Top Secret has a rich hip hop background in Toronto – from being the first one of two MCs and co-founders of the legendary Sunshine Crew as RP Rap. Tara was always around music from the time she was a baby. She started rapping song lyrics from the time she was in her highchair. Her father owned Top Secret Studios when Tara was a baby, where he helped develop The Smugglaz, Don Million, 20 Below, and Jdiggz. The studio was always full of Toronto artists like Infinite, Ghetto Concept, and K’naan.

She has appeared at Honey Jam during 2013 and 2015; and made a real impact throughout the 2015 Honey Jam production where she attained the role in the TV show We Are Savvy. She had the opportunity to rub shoulders with more industry names such as Director X, Janelle Monae, Victoria Duffield, and super manager Steve Lobel. And even Performed at Michie Mee’s birthday bash in October 2015.

In 2016, Tara Lord was a correspondent for the new TV show “We Are Savvy” which airs on Family Channel. On the show she interviewed Jojo and Jackie Evancho. She then went on tour in the UK, where she performed, interviewed acts such as Marianna Zappi and had radio interviews across London.

She recently released her Bodak Yellow remix which is gaining lots of attention from names such as Preme, Casper and Pressa. Tara Lord was recently contacted by DJ Mastermind from 93.5 The Move. To be played on live radio on March 6th 2018. The buzz for Tara is on.
