Fast rising cinematographer John Fiifi Mensah has had a long and successful career in cinema over 7 years, he has worked on almost 80% of music videos, films and TV commercials in about 5 countries.

His works with renowned music video and film directors like Moe Musa, Yaw Skyface, Xbills Ebenezer, David Nicole Sey, Abdul Hafiz, Kobi Rana, Eddie Nartey, Babs Directions and other Directors has won various awards.

But before he began working in the film industry, Fiifi wanted to be a Sound Engineer and he spent the early part of his production career doing exactly that. After helping a friend film an interview.

Fiifi developed the love for cameras and started learning all about the use, rules involved in handling various cameras and production equipment.

He began shooting and working with other directors after his first few works and got lots of recommendations as a results of the dedication to his new found passion and his physical ability to work for longer hours with less on no breaks.

Asked about his dreams, John Fiifi Mensah says; he ultimately sees himself working on Hollywood standard Productions and hope to work on futuristic movies like Black Panther, Avengers, Fast and Furious and many others.

Fiifi never plans to abandon his roots however. He hopes to continue working with the local industry and train other passionate DOP’s and Cinematographers to help grow and improve the local industry
