ABOUT
3RD TV Music Video Awards is an awards scheme organized by Ghanaian-based television channel 3RD TV which shows on TV Africa. The 3RD TV Music Video Awards is going to be held annually by the channel to honor the year’s best music videos.

AIM & PURPOSE
The Awards aim to promote Ghanaian talents throughout the entire year, equipping artists with skills and information regarding the music industry, as well as promoting artists to a national and even an international level, and encouraging them to produce quality music videos in the country.

VISION
The vision of the 3RD TV Music Video Awards is to create a globally recognized awards scheme in Ghana and use it as a platform to honor Ghanaian musicians in and outside the country.

CATEGORIES
The 3RD TV Music Video Awards will recognize and reward artistes, producers and directors who have made the most impact on Ghanaian music and youth culture with their outstanding works over the year under review. The 3RD TV Music Video Award for Best New Comer Video is an award adjudged by the General Public as the most promising artiste with atleast one video release within the year under review.

BEST GROUP VIDEO
The 3RD TV Music Video Award for Best Group Video is an award adjudged by the General Public as the best group with the highest audience appeal and popularity with atleast one video release within the year under review

BEST CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEO
The 3RD TV Music Video Award for Best Choreography Video is an award adjudged by the General Public as the video with best choreography within the year under review

BEST CONCEPT VIDEO
The 3RD TV Music Video Award for Best Concept Video is an award adjudged by the General Public as the video with best storyline within the year under review

BEST EDITED VIDEO
